Developing a thriving community, yet one commited to keeping its small town charm and breathtaking surroundings is not done by accident. It is the responsibility, the challenge, and the priviledge of the Community Development Department. The Community Development Department, or CDD has, by far, the organization's broadest range of responsibilities. Land use planning, building codes, code enforcement, public transit, solid waste management, and the Town's developing sustainability or "green" programs are all under the direction of the deparment.
