Community Development Block Grant

As an entitlement city, the Town receives an annual allocation from the U.S. Housing and Urban Development Community Development Block Grant (CDBG).  The primary objective for the funding is to develop viable urban communities, principally for low- and moderate-income residents.  Eligible CDBG activities include funding in the areas of housing, economic development, community facilities and/or public services which primarily benefit low/moderate income persons, eliminate blight, or resolve an imminent threat to public health or safety.
