Engstrom Properties Announces the Start of Construction for Grocery Outlet Bargain Market

Paradise, CA - Renovation and construction has started for a new Grocery Outlet at the former site of CVS, located at 6800 Skyway Road, Paradise. When completed, the retail establishment will be 20,000 sq. ft. 

Susan Hartman, Community Development Director states, "We are excited to have Grocery Outlet back in our community."

The store is expected to open in fall of 2021. "After years of devastation and the loss of the original Grocery Outlet store, followed by rebuilding, we are excited to bring Grocery Outlet back to the Town of Paradise," states Mark Engstrom of Engstrom Properties. 

Grocery Outlet, an extreme-value grocery retailer based in Emeryville, California, offers customers big savings on brand-name products. The company, celebrating its 75th anniversary this year, has more than 375 locations throughout California, Idaho, Nevada, Oregon, Pennsylvania and Washington. 

The Paradise Grocery Outlet will be owned by Independent Owner-Operators based in the local community and will be announced closer to the store opening. The opening of the Paradise Grocery Outlet will also be creating approximately 20 new jobs in the community.
