Boards and Commissions

The Paradise Town Council is the chief policy making body for the Town of Paradise. In that role, they establish priorities, set policy, and adopt programs. Approving the annual Town budget is one of the Council's most crucial and sweeping responsibilities.

Planning Commission

Planning Meetings occur on the 3rd Tuesday of the month at 6:00pm at Town Hall.

Disabled persons may request reasonable modifications or accommodations relating to the use of telephonic or electronic observation and participation prior to the Council meeting by contacting the Town Clerk at (530) 872-6291 ext. 102.

Measure V Citizen Oversight Committee

A citizen oversight committee, established by the same local law which proposed the sales tax (Ordinance No. 545), will review the spending of tax revenue. The committee consists of a 9 member board of residents and business owners in the Town of Paradise. The purpose of the committee is to provide independent recommendations and assist in monitoring and reporting of spending of tax monies. The committee will meet at least quarterly as well as during the Town's budget preparation with the Town Manager and Finance Director to ensure that the funds are appropriately allocated.
