Measure C
What is Measure C?
Measure C is a half-cent sales tax for Paradise to preserve public services such as police protection, fire suppression, street maintenance and animal control. The tax was passed by voters in November 2014 and goes into effect in April 2015. Measure C will automatically expire after six years (April 2021). A citizen oversight committee established by the same law which proposed the tax (Ordinance No. 545) will review the spending of tax revenue.
