For Immediate Release: PPD Case 25-0127, Traffic Collision

Date: February 11, 2025

On 02/11/2025 at a 6:55 PM, PPD officers responded to the area of Skyway and Lisa Lane on a report of a rollover traffic collision involving a single vehicle. The incident involved a 2016 Chevrolet sedan traveling northbound, driven by a 80-year-old male Magalia resident. Based on the investigation, the vehicle left the roadway due to unknown circumstances, overturned multiple times and came to a rest on its wheels on the east side of Skyway, north of Lisa Lane. The Driver and sole occupant was extricated from the vehicle by Cal Fire personnel and was transported by EMS to Enloe Hospital for treatment. At this time, it does not appear that drugs or alcohol were a determining factor in the collision and the investigation is ongoing. Skyway was closed for approximately 2 hours while emergency personnel worked on clearing the collision scene. If anyone observed the collision, they are encouraged to call Paradise Police Department.
