Special Permit Zones

Per Chapter 8.55 of the Paradise Municipal Code, Special Permit Zones are established as areas inundated by flooding in a base flood event.

Special Permit Zones require additional plan review and discretionary approval based on Chapter 8 of the Paradise Municipal Code and Ordinance No. 620.

To determine if the subject property contains a Special Permit Zone:

1.  Go to townofparadisemapping.com/ 

2.  On the right hand side, in the Layers tab, check Special Permit Zones

(uncheck Zoning to make it easier to see)

3.  If shades of blue are on the property then the property contains the Special Permit Zone. 

(Light blue = less flooding, dark blue = more flooding)
