RV's on a Property
Living on your property in a Recreation Vehicle is allowed with a permit subject to the Temporary Use Regulations (PMC 17.32) and Interim Housing Ordinance.
Under the Towns Temporary Use Regulations, a property owner may live in an RV while rebuilding once the building permit for the primary residence has been issued, and all standards of the interim housing ordnance are mt, A Temporary Use permit is required.
Currently with the Interim Housing Ordinance, displaced Camp Fire survivors with an issued Temporary Use permit to occupy, shall be allowed to stay in an RV until April 30, 2025 with proof that the RV is connected to all utilities.
Permits to store an RV on a vacant property will expire April 30, 2024.
No new temporary use permits will be issued without an issued building permit.
The Temporary Storage of up to two (2) unoccupied recreational vehicles on an eligible property for displaced Camp Fire survivors shall be allowed until April 30, 2024 with the Issuance of a temporary use permit(PMC 8.61.070). No fee shall be charged for this temporary use permit.
